Ashwin Kapoor, the Principal Consultant, is a Certified General Accountant, with several years of experience in systems implementations, and financial accounting.  Ashwin has successfully managed software implementations and provided product training to an extensive client base across North and South America, South East Asia and Russia. He is also experienced in report development, using various report writing tools.  Ashwin specializes in bridging the user business world and the technical area of development. Having experience in both areas, he is able to effectively communicate with both groups.   Ashwin is responsible for the delivery of professional services to a wide range of clients.  His functional specialties are strategic IT planning, business process review and re-engineering, and systems implementation.

Project Experience

Ashwin is currently working with Kinross Gold Corporation in Russia as the Project Manager and Finance Area Specialist.  Responsibilities include management of the Project Schedule and Budget, resourcing and scheduling based on the shift schedules, issue resolution, implementation and integration of the finance applications with procurement, warehouse management, transportation, capital asset management, and implementation of the IFRS requirements.

CNRL Horizon Oil Sands Project Financial Applications Lead Financial Consultant and Systems Integrater managing all financial applications implementation and custom modifications for a 40 Billion dollar construction of an Oil Sands Plant.  Managed selection and implementation of Business Intelligence Tools and Applications.  Assisted in the configuration and integration Maintenance, Procurement, Materials Management and HR Time Capture.  

Graymont Financial Applications   Lead their efforts in upgrading their JDE version 8:0 to 8:10.  Project Management and Finance Lead for the Procure to Pay document management and workflow process.  Assisting in evaluating and testing the upgrade plan to EnterpriseOne 8:12 for all their Financial applications.

Luscar Ltd. Financial Applications Lead Financial Consultant managing all financial applications implementation, systems integration, custom modifications and report development for a 25 Billion dollar Coal Mining operation. Assisted in the configuration and integration Manufacturing, Procurement, Materials Management and HR Payroll.   Managed their upgrade from JDE XE to JDE 8:11.  This was the worlds first EAM upgrade to version 8:11
